Summer is here! With summer being here and all of our lovely residents enjoying our community, we wanted to send a few very important reminders.
- For your safety and the safety of others, please refrain from walking, running, standing, or climbing on retaining walls along the lakes. When fishing, we ask that you please stand on the grass or gravel directly behind the walls. If you are swimming in the lakes, please enter and exit through the designated area.
- There is a growing concern regarding the frequent running of Stop Signs in the community. Stopping at stop signs is legally mandated to ensure the safety of all road users. Ignoring this requirement poses significant dangers to pedestrians and other vehicles, increasing the risk of accidents and collisions. Stop signs are strategically placed at intersections to manage traffic flow and prevent accidents. Failure to stop can result in severe legal consequences and endanger lives.
- Proper trash storage is essential to prevent pests and maintain community hygiene. Trash cans should only be left out on designated collection days and must be promptly removed afterwards.
- Tree trimming in accordance with city code is essential for maintaining safety and accessibility on roads and sidewalks. Proper pruning ensures that branches do not obstruct traffic signs, signals, or pedestrian pathways, reducing the risk of accidents. Additionally, regular yard maintenance, including lawn care and shrub trimming, enhances neighborhood aesthetics and property values. Compliance with these regulations not only preserves the beauty of our community but also promotes a safe and welcoming environment for all residents and visitors.
