With the arrival of longer days and warmer weather, we’re excited to share updated hours for our beloved Chapel and Animal Park Playgrounds—just in time for a season filled with sunshine, play, and the sound of joyful laughter echoing through the neighborhood!
⏰ New Park Hours (Effective Immediately):
Monday – Thursday: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Friday – Sunday: 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM
To help keep our parks beautiful, safe, and ready for daily adventures, the General Assembly will now be closing and locking the playgrounds each evening at the times listed above. We appreciate your support as we maintain these wonderful spaces for all to enjoy!
There’s nothing quite like the sparkle of spring and summer in New Town—the giggles from the swings, the joy of make-believe in the playhouse, and the race to the top of the slide just to do it all over again.
