The General Assembly would like to address some inquiries regarding convenience fees associated with electronic payments, particularly credit card transactions. It is important to note that convenience fees are an industry standard when using electronic payment methods. While many businesses absorb these transaction fees as part of their operations, it would not be feasible for NTGA, a community association, to absorb these fees as it would reduce the income collected.
We understand the importance of providing convenient payment options for our residents, which is why we offer various payment methods, including e-check payments, at no additional cost. Payments may also be mailed to the address on your statement at no additional cost. These options are provided to ensure ease of payment for all residents.
