Dear Homeowners,
Yard Waste Week is scheduled for Monday, 11/11/2024 through Friday, 11/15/2024. During this week, Republic will be collecting yard waste along with your regular trash. Please have both yard waste and trash out by Monday, 11/11/2024, and keep them out all week until they are picked up. Republic will also monitor any areas that couldn’t be serviced during the week and return the following week to collect the remaining items.
To ensure a smooth and successful Yard Waste Week, we encourage you to complete your fall landscaping, tree trimming, shrub pruning, and general yard clean-up ahead of Monday, 11/11/2024.
We’d also like to remind you that, according to the City of St. Charles Code Section 225.050, all street trees should be trimmed to maintain proper clearance:
- On all sides other than the roadway side: A clearance of nine (9) feet is required.
- On the roadway side of major streets: A clearance of fourteen (14) feet must be maintained.
- On the roadway side of other streets: A clearance of twelve (12) feet must be kept.
